Spreadsheets and slide shapes are painful for layouts, and full CAD is too much when you only want to know whether twelve tables fit. MiseFits sits in between: a lightweight planner that works on top of the plan you already have.

Your plan, at real sizeImport a PDF or photo of the plan and calibrate it from a single dimension line. Everything you place is then true to scale in millimetres.

How it works

  1. Load a plan or start blank. Open the app and choose “From a plan” to load a PDF or image (the first page of a PDF is used). No plan yet? Choose “From scratch” and enter the room size in mm — rectangle, L-shape or U-shape.
  2. Set the scale. Click “Set scale by clicking 2 points”, click both ends of a dimension you know (a wall, a door, a dimension line) and type the real length in mm. From then on, everything on the sheet is measured at real size.
  3. Place fixtures. Pick a category in the side panel and click a part to add it, or drag it onto the canvas. Tap a fixture to change its width, depth or angle. Parts snap to walls and to each other with pink guide lines.
  4. Check aisles and seats. Press M (or 📐 Measure) and click two points. The Summary panel shows seats, fixture area, floor area and coverage.
  5. Save and export. Save the project as JSON to keep editing later, or export PNG/PDF. The grid is never printed.
Tip: calibrate on the longest dimension you can find. A small clicking error on a short door width becomes a big error across the whole room.

FAQ

Is MiseFits free?

Yes. Loading plans, setting the scale, placing fixtures, measuring aisles, seat counts and PNG/PDF export are free, with no sign-up and no watermark. MiseFits Pro is an optional one-time purchase that adds extra tools.

Do I need to create an account?

No. MiseFits runs in your browser. Your work is auto-saved on your own device, and you can save a project file (JSON) to continue later or on another computer.

Is my floor plan uploaded anywhere?

No. Plans and layouts are processed only inside your browser and are never sent to our servers. See the privacy policy.

Can I see areas in square feet?

Yes. In the English version every area is shown in both m² and sq ft, so you can compare a layout with a listing quoted per square foot. Lengths are entered and shown in millimetres.

Does it tell me whether my layout meets building or fire codes?

No. Seat counts and aisle colours are planning estimates. Accessibility, egress and fire requirements depend on your country, city and type of business — always confirm the final layout with a local architect, certifier or authority.

Is Pro a subscription?

No. MiseFits Pro is a one-time payment of US$19. Your license key is shown after checkout and emailed to you; one key works on up to five devices (counted per browser).
